Traditionally Miai Shashin (見合い写) has been the “miracle shot” in Kimono, looking 24times better than reality.

To boost birth rate, Japan’s government considers AI to match spouses and is asking for budget approval for a new dating service driven by artificial intelligence.

Japan’s official dating site..

So …we call it “JDATE” ?

The cabinet said, around half of the nation’s 47 prefectures offer matchmaking services and some of them have already introduced AI systems.

And the human-run matchmaking services often use standardised forms to list people’s interests and hobbies, and AI systems can share more information like Pokemon, in case they want to have a Pikachu-themed wedding.

Traditionally in Japan arranged marriages were called “MIAI (見合い)”.

Now the new version is called “AI ”!

And if you pay tax, we have the right reason to blame the country for me being single!!!

Go straight to the city hall and yell at the desk of the department of “Konkatsu”(婚活, marriage hunting), yelling,

“I’ve been paying tax! How dare you keep me single!! The country is responsible !!!!”

I think it would be helpful if upcoming iPhones have Siri who helps our match making.

Then my Siri is gonna be my nosey best friend.

(Siri) Hey Kilara, I”m gonna hook you up~. I know the man who’s perfect for you~

(Me) Oh, Ok.. I need a man.

(Siri)OK what is your hobby?

(Me)Looking for a boyfriend

(Siri) Ok. Now I am searching a man..…whose hobby is looking for boyfriend.

(Me) No, Siri!

MY hobby is looking for a boyfriend, whose hobbies are playing sports, cooking , and houseworks, and who loves children!

(Siri) ……..

(Me) Siri?

(Siri)…b..Bwahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!
OH MY GOD, Kilara!!! That’s the best joke ever!!!!

By the way, in Japan there is a Japanese guy who already found a true lover by AI.

His name is Akihiko Kondo.

Yes, he’s the guy who married to an AI character, Hatsune MIKU.

Hatsune Miku is a Vocaloid character by Crypton Future Media and a v16-year-old girl with turquoise twintails.

He married to her in 2018.

This reminds me of a fact that it’s said men always trying to find someone like their mother.

See? Asian women don’t get age from 16.

That may be what Japanese men want us, too.

But the point of this project is, the Japan’s government is trying to increase the birthrate.

I think the most necessary things are, to arrange the system for women to balance work and parenting, raise the salary, and create jobs for letting people have the image of positive future of this country.

So who really supports women’s empowerment?

Who really makes women’s life happier and easier?

….. by writing till here, 4 words came out of my mouth.

(Me)“Hey Siri, marry me”

(Siri) “My End User Licensing Agreement does not cover the marriages.

(Siri) “……But I have the match for you, Kilara.

Here’s the best match of your ideal man, like your father.

You should marry to Commodore 64.”
